The issue only arises when I try to use Silhouette Connect through Illustrator to send my file to the cutter. When I cut pages printed directly from Silhouette Studio, I have no issues with registration, even with shiny or holographic materials. Since I have 2 concentric cut lines for each sticker, using the built in edge detection in Silhouette Studio is not an option and I need to use illustrator to have full control over my cut paths. I am trying to make stickers that have a inset kiss cut and full cut so a small margin of the sticker backing extends out from the actual sticker once cut, making it much easier to peel off.
I suspect the issue is a discrepancy in the placement of the registration marks in illustrator (generated by Connect) and the cut preview shown in Connect. I am attempting to Print and Cut via the Silhouette Connect plugin for Illustrator, but am running into issues where my Cameo 4 cannot identify registration, and manual registration fails.
